Bleed Radio Bleed is a Philadelphia, PA based band formed in 2006. Their sound is best described as alternative pop/rock with elements of progressive rock, psychedelic rock, and Latin American music. The band consists of Founding members Eric Heidel (guitar) and Kevin Hilyard (bass), as well as more recent additions Dave Maitta (guitar), Matt Wanamaker (vocals), and Alvaro Trigo (drums).
Bleed Radio Bleed released a self-titled EP in 2007, and Heidel & Hilyard played shows throughout the Northeast with the band’s previous line up. After regrouping with a new lineup in 2008 the band has continued to tour regionally, and has entered the studio to record its debut full length. Members of the band have previously played in the power-pop collective Canadian Invasion (Wanamaker) and seminal post-hardcore group Amertume (Hilyard), and have toured across the U.S., Europe, and South America.
Bleed Radio Bleed is currently finishing up the recording of their debut album at Soundfire Studios, In Philadelphia, and is anticipating its release later this year. The yet to be named album will be released on Break Even Records; which launched the careers of Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer and This Day Forward. The band is currently touring to promote their upcoming release.

R&RAS is hosting a Teen Battle of the Bands at the end of July in Phoenixville PA! Bands between the ages of 12-19 are eligible to compete for a full demo production package- recording session at Philadelphonic Studios, professional band photograph by Kyle Ober, and CD packaging by CDMakers.
Submission deadline has just been extended to July 29th, 2009. The Battle begins on July 31! Help out fellow aspiring musicians by spreading the word to any teen bands you know. Thanks!
