| About Bleed The Skyline (1588-2008) |
It was a hard decision for us to make, but in the end we decided it was for the best…
On November 1st 2008, the four of us in ‘Bleed The Skyline’ decided it was time to call it a day as a band.
We realised that we wanted different things from the band, and that we wanted to take the band in different directions. We all had our own reasons for our choices, but realised it was unfair to make any member of the band do something that they didn’t want to do.
So rather than fall out over petty little things that would rise to the surface over time, we decided that we didn’t want to be in that position. We didn’t want to put our friendship at risk for the sake of the band.
All we can do now is offer all of our thanks to our parents, families and friends for all of their support they have shown us over the last 2½ years. Although we look like a 4 piece band on-stage, it’s a very different story off-stage. There were so many people involved in the band behind the scenes and without those people, everything we achieved wouldn’t have been possible.
There were a lot of people who were not directly involved with band that we also need to thank. Obviously, we can’t list these people as there are so many of them but we’re so grateful for every single person directly involved or not, who has helped us over the last 2½ years!
Thank you isn’t really enough, but we can’t put into words how much we appreciate everything that everyone has done for us. So we’ll say it anyway… Thank You !
It’s hard to sum up the last 2½ years in a few paragraphs, in fact… it’s impossible!
All we know, is that we’ve all had the best years of our lives so far and we’re all extremely sad about the break up of the band.
We’re all still very good friends, and that isn’t going to change any time soon!
We all wish each other the very best with what we choose to do next, and we will always support each other in those choices.
So, from the four of us…
Thanks for the support at gigs, thanks for the support online and thanks for spreading the word about us and getting our name out there…
Thank you for everything!
Keep your eyes open, coz who knows…
Maybe you’ll see a ‘Bleed The Skyline’ gig somewhere in the future.
