| General | Long walks on the beach, cuddling, as well as wearing my tin foil hat because it enables me to read your mind.
Presently I'm obsessed with reading all books by Chuck Palahniuk. I'm currently reading "Lullaby", which is the last book I have of his, so I'm trying to make it last by reading only a paragraph a day. Blast! Have finished it! Liked it but need another book to read. Any suggestions? Never mind the suggestions, people who did not suggest anything. Have purchased and am reading "Rant".
I compulsively listen to The Violent Femmes. If I had money I'd decorate a van and follow them across the land (and ocean!). My psychiatrist thinks this is obsessive...do you?
I enjoy movies but I can't sit through one in the theater. I talk and fidget too much. Blast! | | Music | The Violent Femmes!!! Beirut, Clap Your Hands And Say Yeah! Wolf Parade, Tap Tap, Bright Eyes, The Pogues, Crass, Love Is All, Toots & The Maytals, The Clash, Modest Mouse, The Lovely Feathers, Kocani Orkestar, The Good The Bad and The Queen, Louise Attaque, Bloc Party, Belle & Sebastian, The Magnetic Fields, The Walkmen, Devotchka, Built To Spill . Those are the only ones I can think of right now. Really my choice in music is determined by my mood. I am prejudiced against no music, come one come all. However, when I'm drunk I especially like listening to my "Smurf" record. That song, "Smurfing Beer" is a classic. It goes, "Beer, beer smurfing beer, ya don't get drunk cause it isn't beer!" Ha, the irony slays me!!! | | Movies | Love Actually, Nightmare Before Christmas, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer (Santa is such an ass in this film!), Star Wars (all of em!), The Royal Tenebaums, that one my ex-boyfriend showed me, something about a Sassy Girl?, Run Lola Run, The Life Aquatic, Little Miss Sunshine, and both Bridget Jones movies!!! | | Books | My favs include Stranger In a Strange Land (do you grok?), The Fountainhead (fuck you Peter Keating!), The Bell Jar (I ate them, I thought they were candy), Sherlock Holmes stories, Neon Bible, The Beirnstein Bears, and most Chuck Palanuik books. | | Heroes | As a kid I loved Spiderman! I was five years old when I attempted to stick to my bathroom wall by jumping on it. Needless to say, my mom was quite upset with my sister's encouragement at this idea. |
