He has recorded three CD's of original music that have achieved radio interest ranging from local to international radio play as far as Great Britian and Eastern Europe and has gathered great reviews from national music magazines and regional publications. The latest, Brian Leneschmidt & Edge of Soul, combines his electric and acoustic writting including remakes of six previous songs and eleven new songs.
The summer of 2001 his previous band, Fatt Cat Freddie, was chosen by FOX Radio in Colorado to open "Hawg Fest", an annual event at Red Rocks Amphitheater, and the band was showcased in Salt Lake City, Utah, playing a private engagement for the Australian media the closing night of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Annual performances in Sturgis, SD, music Festival performances and a showcase in Molenbeersol, Belgium have helped pave the way for Brian's growing career.
Brian's solo performances on six and twelve string guitar includes a mix of singer-songwriter, rock, R&B, Blues and country with hits spanning from Elton John to Crosby Stills and Nash to Willie Nelson.
Brian now keeps his schedule playing solo dates as well as shows with his bands Edge of Soul and Another fine Mess. "Taking a mix of blues, rock and soul, Edge of Soul has an original approach to song writing and performes high energy shows."
