You're so sweet, and thanks for asking! Well, the group has really only gotten together once since I connected with the group leader. It went well. Of the widows/ers that were there, most of them had lost their spouses 2 or more years ago but I was the only one that was remarried. So it was kind of neat sharing my experience with them in being remarried, and they seemed very interested to hear about it. It was also neat just being there with people who I could relate to in a way that I guess only people who have shared similar life experiences can. I'm not sure yet what role the Lord will have me play in this group, but I'm looking forward to finding out as time goes on!

I'm soooo sorry I didn't call you on your birthday! I love you girl and even though we are the same age I look up to you because you've become such an awesome mother and person, and I know where you came from and you never used that as an excuse to be anything less. Your Awesome and I really do cherish you as a friend. I wish we could spend more time together but it's ok because I know that when we do hang out it feels like a day hasn't passed since the last time we hung out and it's just like old times.
