Blessing Lies nace a principios del año 2005 en búsqueda de un metalcore poderoso acorde a las corrientes que imperan por estos días. Pero la banda tardó en constituirse como tal, pues se careció por varios meses de un bajista para completar el quinteto.
A medida que pasaban los meses, la composición avanzaba a pasos agigantados, siempre influenciados por los sonidos que llegaban de Europa y los Estados Unidos. Legendarias bandas del hardcore/metal como God Forbid, Dead to Fall, Remembering Never, Embrace the End, Blood Has Been Shed, Found Dead Hanging entre otras, ayudaron a que Blessing Lies encuentre el estilo que ahora difunde a masas.
La banda sigue trabajando en lo que será su album debut, el mismo que verá la luz en el primer trimestre del 2010, y que esperamos conserve el poder y la destrucción a la que este quinteto nos ha empezado a acostumbrar desde la aparición del Demo en el 2007.
