    An undisputed Reggae Artist, Zionomi! Born to sing with a zeal that is real and an extraordinary passion for music! This Reggae sensation is about to take the Caribbean and the rest of the world,on a new and bright path in Reggae music! Born and raised in the sweet Helen of the West, the island of Saint Lucia, Kennedy "Zionomi" Gittens has a natural, God graciously given talent! The gift of sound and rhythm hich is the soul of Reggae music!! Zionomi began his humble journey at the tender age of 12, performing and singing into the hearts of people, was his main ambition in life. He took this wonderful talent and grew it into his mind, body and soul! Zionomi's inspiration came from God and all the magnificent works he sees around him in beautiful St. Lucia! The luscious tress, the bountiful beaches,and everyday life that he witnessed around him, not to mention his own experiences! From dealing with love, everyday circumstances in life, Economic, Social and Youth issues; these all are major influences of his music. Not forgetting of course the great Bob Marley, and many more powerful Reggae singers! On November 26, 2006 came the chance of stardom for this young, inspiring individual. Zionomi emerged champion of the Guinness Freestyle competition with prizes which included a trip to Jamaica to attend the infamous Reggae Sunsplash! After returning home, Zionomi advanced his career by releasing hit songs, that would amaze St.lucians! Including the most popular, ''Just A Friend!'' , ''Come & Love Me (Emergency)'' and "Love How You Whining So!'' In 2007 he recorded his first CD "Love of Reality" and this same year offered the opportunity for his first music video. 2008 Zionomi was nominated for "Best New Artist" at the St.Lucian Music awards, and also went to the different Caribbean islands to perform his music,including Martinique! Zionomi is very fluent in the French language, so he gave them some music in French which they really appreciated. 2009 Zionomi produced his next hit on the popular ''HOLD YUH'' riddim by Ricky Blaze with his song entitled ''ROLL YUH''... which has propelled him further into the public's ears and conciousness. To date "Roll Yuh" is one of his biggest hits and is reminiscent of many Ganja anthems past but with a modern twist. His new found recognition gave him the chance to perform alongside Sizzla, Gyptian, JahBami and, Tanya Stevens. Zionomi has twiced graced the stage at the St. Saint Lucia International Jazz Festival 2008 and 2010. Zionomi has recently returned from performing inGermany and also in Saint Maarten where he was well received and shown lots of love and appreciation! Who is ZIONOMI ?

Kennedy Gittens also known as Zionomi is a Saint Lucian recording artiste and performer. Music has always been his creative outlet and escape from the turmoil of inner city life. His music embodies a vibrant youthful aura and speaks of life’s joys, struggles and universal truths.


Zionomi is of Creole Heritage (Italian father and Saint Lucian mother) and has showcased his versatility and lyrical prowess by recording and performing songs from various genres such as Lover’s Rock, Dancehall, Soca and Lucian Kompa (Lucian Kweyol). Zionomi has soulfulness to his songs and a meaningful message in his lyrics as well. Two notable songs being “Kon Ça” and “Kah-Wey” both sung in French Creole. This hidden gem of exuberant talent has taken over the airwaves globally with his contagious voice and hit songs such as “Give Praises” “Come & Love Me” “Just A Friend”, “Certain Things”, “Love How You Whining So” and most recently “Roll Yuh”.


Zionomi began singing at the tender age of 12 and he knew that voicing, performing and singing was all he would be happy doing. His inspiration came from the powerful messages sang by Mr. Bob Marley. 


On November 26, 2006 came the chance of stardom for this young, inspiring individual.  On November 26, 2006, Zionomi emerged champion of the Guinness Freestyle competition which prizes included a trip to Jamaica to attend the world reknowned Reggae Sunsplash! In Jamaica he had the opportunity to network with Bushman, Beres Hammond and Bobby Digital to name a few.

After returning home, Zionomi advanced his career by releasing a few singles including the most popular, “Come & Love Me (Emergency)” and “Just A Friend”


2007 he recorded his first CD “Love of Reality” and this same year offered the opportunity for his first music video to be produced.


2008 Zionomi was nominated for “Best new artist” at the St.Lucian Music awards.


2009 Zionomi produced his second music video and landed another hit song with “Roll Yuh”


2011 Zionomi was nominated for the "St. Lucia National Youth Awards"


His new found recognition gave him the chance to share the stage with Sizzla, Jah Cure, Munga, Gyptian, Jah Bami , Mr. Vegas and also to be in the line up for the annual St.Lucia Jazz Festival 2008 and 2010.

Loved by his fans, zealous and strong, Zionomi intends to reach the highs of artist life and ensure that his voice and message be heard globally with recent performances in Saint Maarten and Germany. This genuine, God fearing, Rasta man, truly knows that his journey in life is to bring music to the hearts of people.
