Blight has been around ever since Derek and Karl first started jamming together on Metallica songs back in '99. They've changed instruments and band members alot since then. But in August of 2007, after parting ways with their fifth bass player, jayB stepped in to solidify the power trio. Staying true to what Blight has been always been about; wicked solos, great harmonies and heavy metal with a hard rock groove; a new sense of purpose is now what drives this band. You get that when you see them live!!! .... but don't worry, they just wanna kick some ass, drink some beer and have a great time!!! ..you will too...
