About me: I'm a computer science student. I think that I'm probably a bit frumpy and of a generally cheerful temperament.
This page is frankly directed more toward my "meatspace" friends who already know "about me" than the random stranger... but all are certainly welcome. I have acquainted myself with a humble corner of philosophy in my day (It's a hobby I guess) and I have few blogs that deal with the subject in the superficial manner befitting a dabbler such as myself.

Who I'd like to meet: Well, I'm probably pretty introverted, in that I am capable of being quite happy unto myself. However, I do genuinely enjoy interacting with friendly intelligent people who share any of my interests. Feel free to drop me a line if that's your bag of tea.
A three-year-old boy fell eighteen feet into a zoo enclosure containing seven gorillas. He was immediately rescued, not by zookeepers, but by one of the animals. The 150 lb. female gorilla picked up the unconscious form of the boy and laid it at a door to be easily retrieved to by zookeepers. This cross-species rescue has resulted in thousands of dollars in donations to the zoo. It is perhaps because of these donations that zookeepers have kept quiet about one vital detail, a hastily scrawled note tucked in the boy's collar, "Thanks; but we prefer fruit. "
