"If you like Scandinavian magic, you must see Blind Archery Club. (…) They make epics, complete them with emotional guitars and a fair few handclaps and sound not unlike the Flaming Lips, but with better vocals."
(www.bbc.co.uk - on Blind Archery Club at In The City 2007)
Released in February 2007 Blind Archery Clubs debut album "The Union" produced four radio singles in their native Norway, the highlight being "Off The Deep End" reaching No. 4 in the National Airplay Charts.
The tour that followed included several European countries major Norwegian festivals and the bands first visit to the UK.
And as 2007 came to an end the band was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy in the category for Best Pop Act.
In March 2008 the band made their second visit to the UK and played three shows in London at The Bloomsbury Ballroom, The Barfly Camden and Blow Up Metro. Blind Archery Club is currently working on new material. See you soon!
“We've seen a band from Oslo, Blind Archery Club. They were crazy! Smart sophisticated pop with complex harmonies. Really great!”
(Dan Wood and Jason Reece of “... Trail Of Dead” in an interview with Norwegian newspaper Dagsavisen at the Quart festival)
Our latest single 'Set Me On Fire' is now available worldwide from all major digital stores and includes the exclusive remix by dance legends Utah Saints.
"I'm totally feeling 'em!" - Liam Howlett, The Prodigy
