Blind Eye mysteries follow the investigations of an eclectic agency headed by Yoshi Yakamota, a sexy raven-haired Japanese American lesbian who refuses to let her rapidly failing eye-site prevent her from solving crimes.

Synopsis of Blind Faith: There are dozens of unlicensed, lock down schools for "troubled" kids in this country, where they are exposed to abuses like shock therapy and forced confinement. Their crimes? Being queer or transgender.

What happens to the kids for whom blind faith and outright torture together aren't enough? That's what private investigator Yoshi Yakamota and the Blind Eye Detective Agency must determine when a girl goes missing and two more fall to their death from a rocky oceanside cliff in what appears to be a tragic accident.

Will sending a Blind Eye team member undercover atthe controversial Pioneer Institute, a faith-based residential ex-gay youth program, reveal what's behind the school's terrible safety record, or will it just put another young woman in harm's way?

When journalist Velvet Erickson's oldest friend, movie director Jeff Conant, takes a header off the Golden Gate Bridge, she refuses to believe his death was a suicide. Private investigator Yoshi Yakamota isn’t so sure.

PRIMARY CAST:

Yoshi Yakamota: The blind investigator runs the Blind Eye Detective Agency. The Japanese American lesbian's sight may be dwindling, but she's still one hell of a detective.

Velvet Erickson Yoshi’s best friend, this 30-something, mixed-race investigative reporter lends a hand with Blind Eye cases. The vulumptuous femme who's a pop culture addict, has a way with the ladies, and is sure to be hooking up with one or more of the other cast members.

Tucker Shade: The early twenty-something blond blue-eyed butch Blind Eye receptionist/ detecitve-wanna-be may have caught Velvet's fancy but she's still got a serious jones for Yoshi.

Delbert “Bud” Williams: This grumpy, opinionated, retired police detective was injured on the job and is now confined to a wheelchair. He's currently Blind Eye's primary investigator and despite his flaws, he can be counted on in a crunch.

Angela “A.J.” Jackson: Displaced from New Orleans after Katrina, the mid-20s African American butch moved west and took a job with East Palo Alto police department. As her involvement with Blind Eye--and one of the investigators--grows, so too does her questions regarding her gender identity.
