   bLIND iNFANCY: General Info
Member Since7/25/2005
Band Members
  • Adrian:
    acoustic guitar,
electric guitar (played non-traditionally with various objects),
    traditional percussion (ashiko, djembe, bohran),
non-traditional percussion (such as a metal trash can lid & a soup pot),
    spoken word
  • Stephen:
    traditional percussion (ashiko, djembe, bohran),
    spoken word
  • Brian: sax, flute, additional guitars
    .
    .
    .
    Ryan: guitar, percussion
*Ryan is helping out while Steve is away / meanwhile Brian & Adrian have been playing out a lot w/Ryan

no longer with the group, but not forgotten:

  • Joyce: movement, reaction, interpretation, dance
  • Alan: percussion
  • Joie: percussion
  • InfluencesSigur Ros, Dead Can Dance, Sonic Youth, Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Skinny Puppy, Leonard Cohen, Clang Quartet, Kraftwerk, Ministry, Cranes, Enya
Sounds LikeNothing else, seriously. The closest sounds out there would be Sigur Ros or Godspeed! You Black Emperor although we sound like neither and are not nearly as good (yet?!) PLUS Joyce is also part of the group and she plays no instruments. It's been hard to get people to understand she's not extra, an additional aspect. She is as important to who we are becoming as I am. The movement she does is as vital as the sounds I make from the guitar or the drum rhythms by Stephen & Joie (or Alan).
    Type of LabelNone

Hey... I see ole Clang Quartet is now on-line... well doogie! I saw dat boy play at LIFASAR! I keep tellin' 'em to come and perform down at my farm, I wanna see my cows reactions. I mean it's close to where geezer lake spotted that U.F.O. when I was helpin with them fix up that Chevy Nova... until that gust of wind came along and blew my cowboy hat off and I had to chase it down with my pick-up truck. Oh, yea.. it must be Joyce that attracts them females because I've seen them other two boys before, and well... God works in mysterious ways I guess.
