This may not be a Blues Song, but it is a Dam Fine peice of Music from a young Canadian artist worthy of mention. When an album is still getting heavy requests (on The Sunday Morning Hangover Cure) more than a Year after its release, you know there is something special about it! Justin has quietly produced a masterpeice, a voice of reason, in a pop jungle. I hope and pray he will be heard.

About me: The Blind Lemon Blues is a weekly radio show, broadcast every Monday Night, at 7:30 pm Eastern Time. It is available "Live" on the web at www.chmr.ca
Each Week, Terry, Craig, and Jason explore the best in blues "From the Mississippi Delta to the Great White North"! It's a fun filled, fast paced, (sometimes irreverend) radio romp through some of the best that Blues Music has to offer, with a special focus on Canadian Artists.
This Site, is dedicated to the Hard working Blues Artist! We want to make this site a Meeting place and Showcase for Great Blues, and to that end, we will feature Music, Video's, reviews and everything blues related! If you have suggestions, or ideas, please feel free to contact us!
Who I'd like to meet: A Message from Terry Parsons
Host of Blind Lemon Blues & The Songwriters
The Canadian blues Scene is populated by interesting, unique and powerful personalities! "Canadian Blues has a Very low ceiling, and a very high floor", David Gogo once told me, "If you wanna play music for money, play Rock n Roll. But if you wanna play music for the pure love of playing music, then you have to play the blues."
I think David Was Right!
The average blues musician in Canada struggles for their art. Most have day Jobs, because being a professional Blues Musician don't pay the bills. I have met and interview hundreds of artists, coast to coast in this great land of ours, and one thing is abundantly clear... Playing the blues is a Labor of love.
I hold a great regaurd for the blues, and a deep respect for the artist that respect the traditions while blazing their own trail.
I hope you enjoy this page, and the music we share here! Get out and support the artists and venues by enjoying live music when and where you can! Lets all help keep the blues alive!
I was in the neighborhood here and thought I'd just check in to pay my respect, say hello and thank you for remaining a friend. Please do stop in and check out the photo gallery section if you have a wee bit of time.
