Blind Spirit are a rock covers band from Norwich who started out as a 3 piece, with all 3 members having played with various bands over the years - Rob worked in London demonstrating musical equipment before returning to Norwich to seek his fortune, and Bob and Andy were both in a popular local rock covers band for 6 years called White Heat.
When Bob left White Heat in May 08 to pursue other musical interests, White Heat began to show signs of unrest, and in early July, decided to split by mutual agreement.
Andy met Rob and they briefly jammed with another drummer before teaming up again with Bob (from White Heat) to complete the line up.
However, after recording a demo it was felt that there was something missing from the sound, so in December 08 Andy's son Tom was asked to join the band. Tom was happy and more than capable (especially in the hair dept!) to take the role of rhythm guitarist, thus completing the current line up.
In September 2009 it became clear that Rob wasn't as commited to the band as Bob, Tom and Andy so by mutual agreement he has left to pursue all his other interests..... a new line up for Blind Spirit will be announced very soon!
