Blindspot Records was created in 1991 as a means to showcase San Diego's exploding music scene. Over the past 17 years the label has released a number of albums featuring music from across the spectrum, on both vinyl and CD. "Staring at the Sun" is a compilation series, featuring music in all genres, with an emphasis on song hooks. Volume VIII is due in late 2009. The label has released albums from Anna Troy, Irradio, Mark DeCerbo & Four Eyes, The Shambles, Wendy Bailey and The Spring Collection. Blindspot also issued the fourth album from Dave Humphries, and so it goes..., featuring stellar guitar work from former Beatles compatriot Tony Sheridan. Many more surprises are ahead as 2009 appears to be the busiest year in the labels history!
