Got my copy of the live CD/DVD a coupla weeks back, it's choice to finally to have some live Blindspott in my collection! The set list was fucken shit hot! Wasn't quite sure about "Ilah" tacked on the end though, especially after Damian introduces "Nil by Mouth" the way he did, not sure if that was a legit encore or it'd been played earlier in the set. Would've loved to have seen "Fall Down" on there though! Aja's backing vocals are fucken right on the money too, adds so much live! Not to mention Marcus' growls!
Was kinda hoping to hear a bit of the chatter between tracks, especially the introduction of Gareth & Karl, but it's nowhere to be seen/heard which I thought was a bit shit. Also not a big fan of the fade outs/ins between tracks, seems kinda rushed. Karl missed out a big scratch section in "Mind Dependency" too, was a bit gutted. I reckon it woulda been cool to have Dave & Gareth swap back & forth for the songs they played on the records respectively & have Karl jump in on the old stuff.
But ah well, it's all history now & I'm fucken glad you guys captured it for all those who couldn't make that final show both in NZ & abroad!
