Our EP recording sessions are done! We are in the process of sending it to be mastered. Sorry for the delay... that whole money thing haha... anyway we will keep you up to date on when it will be ready and when the CD will be finished. Now we all know how ‘most every band now days talks of small beginnings and struggle… Well while the members of Blind Surrender have had their times they have always had a common goal and destiny in mind. When founding members Celeste Jimenez, Jordan Ohlmann and Matt Hampton were selected to be in their local youth groups Praise and Worship team they had no idea of how that raw talent mixed with years of stage experience would drop them in the lap of destiny. Fast forward about 6 years … Around the ages of 18 Jordan and Matt were talking and both felt that their was more to their destiny than solely playing in the Praise and Worship band. With that they started praying and seeking direction. When they came together next they both agreed that they were to take the songs they had been writing and put them to use in a Christian Rock band. Now, just to find other musicians who shared their passion. They knew of a hand full of singers but only one stood out, Celeste. With their vision out on the table Celeste was on board. After a handful of drummers, they added the final piece to the mix with drummer David M in mid 2005 . With hours and days of dedicated practice, songwriting, boxes of live performances and learning the ropes in studios Blind Surrender has created a distinct style all their own.
Hit by a Bus needs a show in Lubbock on Saturday July 26. We will play any place that has four walls and an electrical outlet. We'll play a house show if we have to. Please send us a message if you can help us get a show together.
