I was destined to become a composer and songwriter. I grew up
surrounded by music. My mom was an opera singer, choir director and
voice teacher. I learned operatic arias by hearing them in my room while
my mom sang in the room below. At the age of 4 I insisted on taking
voice and piano lessons from my mother's teacher. As soon as I could
read, I was devouring books about famous composers. I absolutely loved
Looney Tunes cartoons. I would crank up the tv and listen intently to
Carl Stalling's twisted music. I had a hard time connecting what he was doing with what I had heard in the orchestra. That use of music as sound design would figure later in my music productions.
I love science and science fiction. If I had not become a musician, I would have become some kind of research scientist. My interest in science and technology manifested itself in my interest in recording, computers and programming music. In my project studio, I have my own musical laboratory where I perform sound experiments that eventually make it onto CD's, film and game scores. My musical heroes are people like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Frank Zappa, Brian Eno, Todd Rundgren and others who carve out their own niches and march to their own drummers.
Blip Blop is one of the many projects of Keith Kehrer, owner of and producer for Kamakaze Productions. Keith played jazz and salsa in New York City and those influences come through in the music. Throw in groovy hip hop loops, weird vocal samples, slide guitar and you get an interesting mix. Keith says he is heavily influenced by a lot of the down tempo and acid jazz that seems to flying around the internet these days. Check it out!
Hello! We just wanted to invite you over to our page to check out our NEW LAYOUT and our NEW SONG! We'd love for you to stop by and say hello. We hope all is well and things just keep getting better!
Hey Blip Blop, How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. You breath as delicately as vapors flowing towards an attractive flame. You have not yet reached the height of your creativity. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. You ever remind me of the enigma of happy thoughts I once forgot. Polished rock candy comes ever to mind when thinking of you. So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts. Panoramic aromavision is the future. How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation?
I like your music very much, and now I put your Scrubby Bobby on my profile. Perfect song! You are invited to pay a visit... greetings from Lappeenranta, FI
