BLISS ARE THE UKS BEST KEPT SECRET
Bliss are Lucinda Drayton and Andrew
Blissett.
Together they make up one of the most
exciting and creative musical partnerships in the uk today. Both
have been practicing Yogis for 10 years and it is this way of
life that gives their work authenticity and power. Bliss music
has been used by many to see them through stressful times; to
help them in healing illnesses and to uplift them during times of
grief or loss. Your music was a large part in my recovery from
terminal illness.....Thank you from the depths of my soul to
yours ....to say I am inspired would be an understatement ! God
bless you till we meet again in the airwaves......EL*
Lucinda and Andy wrote the number one
Hit 'The Real Thing' with Toni Di Bart in 1994. Their own debut
album 'Suicidal Angel' received Radio One airplay and a four star
Q review. Recently Sinead O Connor covered their well loved song
'A Hundred Thousand Angels' from their best selling album of the
same name.
Their current albums sell all over the
world with little press or publicity. The quality of their work
ensures that it spreads by word of mouth as more and more people
find out about them.

As gospellers have said, Beneath signalling skies, On land dusty to tread, A trough in a stable Was the strawy first-bed Of a divine baby - The forgiving Godhead.
A season for new hope - There then and here now; The yuletide of goodwill - There then and here now.
In respect of this chance, Beneath bright or dark skies, Faith's the star that we glance Attending Christ's churches And trying to enhance, With singing and ritual, Our God-loving stance.
Be someone who listens, and you will be heard. Be someone who cares, and you will be loved. Be someone who gives, and you will be blessed. Be someone who comforts, and you will know peace.
Be someone who genuinely seeks to understand, and you will be wise. Be someone kind, someone considerate, and you will be admired. Be someone who values truth, and you will be respected. Be someone who takes action, and you will move life forward.
Be someone who lifts others higher, and your life will be rich. Be someone filled with gratitude, and there will be no end to the things for which you'll be thankful.
Be someone who lives with joy, with purpose, as your own light brightly shines. Be in every moment, the special someone you are truly meant to be.
Its Finally Here,"Crying For Love" The New Track from Henri Leo Thiesen & Houseboy with a Vocal from Joeboe is a massive track with a grewling bass line that will hypnotise you and take total control over your moves on the dance floor

Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
