About BLISTERED AVALON (The Art Of Brent Eyestone)
Brent Christopher Eyestone was born on August 11, 1976 in Canal Zone, Panama and spent his childhood bouncing around California, Germany, and Virginia as the son of a military family. Eyestone attended Penn State University, studying advertising and marketing, before relocating back to Northern Virginia.
An artistically-inclined child, Eyestone was constantly working on projects spanning the gamut of visual arts and entertainment. It came as no surprise the direction his "adult" path would quickly take. To this day, he owns and operates the Magic Bullet Records label (currently in its 10th year), tours many weeks out of the year fronting the rock bands Forensics and the newly formed Highness, composes soundscapes for film and television via the Aughra moniker, takes on clients as an award-winning graphic designer, models for print advertisements, produces records and films, and a veritable host of other creative endeavors.
Blistered Avalon opens May 4, 2007 at Bis Aufs Messer Gallery in Berlin, Germany. The exhibition runs through July 3, 2007.
