About me:
Danilo Monzillo is a 36yo brazilian professional make-up artist, 80s memorabilia collector, a truly fanatic for Boy George and all the greatest underground popstars from all over the world and, as far as we know, the biggest "New Romantics connoisseur" in South America, not to mention one of the biggest of the entire world wide web.
His websites Freaklands and The Blitz Kids are an awesome and eye-catching portrait of the underground popstars, cult heroes, rock'n'roll stars, glam divas and club creatures from the 60's up to now, with a great emphasis on the 80's underground culture, specially the New Romantics movement.
For many years Danilo have been collecting records, magazines, clippings and movies which are now available for a greater audience through his websites. He is also the co-founder of the Wilza Carla's website, (dedicated to the cult brazilian actress from the 70's), and also a massive collaborator of the Leigh Bowery's Tribute Website (a website devoted to the unforgettable Australian performer and fashion designer).
His next plans now include several others websites dedicated to the brazilian cult popstars from the 80s and more sites about alternative cultures.
