About me:

I am a no bullshit veteran metalhead who has been around the block since the birth of heavy metal. It started with Sabbath's first album in 1970. Deep Purple I discovered in '72. Rush in '75, Kiss in '75 and the gods Thin Lizzy in '76. I was lucky to have seen Thin Lizzy in '78 when they opened for Styx at the Seattle Coliseum (now the Key Arena). I saw Kiss in '79 on the Dynasty tour (right before Peter Criss left the band). I first heard Judas Priest when my parents gave me their LP "Sin After Sin", that was Xmas '77! Over the past 30 years, I have seen WELL over one thousand hard rock and heavy metal bands in concert. In Early May of 1997 I backpacked through Europe by myself to just get "Away" for a month. I went to England, France, Belgium and then to Holland. It was there where I decided at the train station in Eindhoven (during a stopover to Amsterdam) to buy a ticket to the infamous Dynamo Open Air Festival. The festival was like nothing I had ever witnessed in my life. The brotherhoood of metalheads from all over the world, getting together and drinking and just enjoying the three days of diverse metal bands, was simply fucking awesome! I enjoyed Dynamo so much that I returned in 1998 and 1999, though they held it at different locations and had issues due to "Foot & Mouth" disease (cattle). After Dynamo 1999, I moved on to Wacken Open Air (GERMANY) Inferno Metal Festival (NORWAY), and Party San (GERMANY). My European festival resume' is as follows: DYNAMO: 1997,1998,1999 WACKEN: 2000,2001,2002,2003,2004,2007 INFERNO: 2002,2004, PARTY SAN: 2002,2004 NO MERCY'S 2002. *UPDATED MARCH 29TH 2009* I work in the health industry full time and in my spare time I write and manage my website/zine BLIZZARDBEAST.COM and also I like to dabble in photography (among other arts)!!! I go camping, fishing and hiking/day hiking quite a bit and I also ski whenever I get a chance. I like to cook and have been cooking for about 25 years now. Some of my gourmet creations can be found in my photo albums. I am very much into keeping healthy & physically fit and I do at least 30-60 minutes of cardio everyday. I also hit the gym 3 or 4 X's per week and do strength training with weights. I am a spiritual man who has a lot to work through in this life. The stones I gathered in the past hath gathered many mosses and I had to cast them into the river of forget. I like to surround myself with positive energy and vibration. The past few years, I have come to realize that Animals and Nature interest me more than Humans. ..
