Born on February 13th, 1950, Robert 'Bob' Daisley first picked up the bass guitar in 1964, at the ripe old age of fourteen. By the time he was twenty in 1970, he had recorded with “Kahvas Jute.” Pursuing his destined music career, Bob moved to England-via-Sydney, Australia, where in 1972 had joined “Chicken Shack”. Daisley later worked with good-time band, “Mungo Jerry” in 1973. 1975 brought him a new opportunity in the form of “Widowmaker.” In July of 1977, he was invited to join “Rainbow.” Then in 1979, at a club in London called 'The Music Machine', Bob met unemployed, ex-Black Sabbath Frontman “Ozzy Osbourne.” Wanting to “jam-out”, both hopped a train up to Stafford (Midlands), where they rocked with a couple of local musicians. Later that night, Daisley decided to form a band with the singer. Not long after, they got Randy Rhoads and Lee Kerslake to join their new band. Fourteen years later, and releasing some 14 albums along with numerous singles, Bob Daisley’s history with “The Osbourne Band” speaks for itself. He is a true pioneer in the music industry who continues to inspire as both a Songwriter and Musician.
