Although this page is called BLACK PEOPLE WHO LOVE JAMES TAYLOR, it's a page for ALL people who love his music. It is a page for people who believe that Good Music is Good Music...PERIOD.
This page is a result of a conversation I had with a group of people about how much we love James Taylor's music. Toward the end of the night, it struck me as wrong that a couple of black people in the group waited until I was alone to let me know that they also liked James Taylor's music. When I asked why they didn't speak up earlier one of them said "black people don't listen to James Taylor". I found that remark to be crazy. First, I'm black and I love James Taylor's music second and most importantly, MUSIC IS MUSIC.
