risen from the ashes of the punk/rock'n'roll-bands DISTRICT and THE REVOLVERS, coming from the ruhr area, 2nd DISTRICT formed in the summer of 2005. they released a 7" single, called "young&disorderly", on drunk'n'roll records, followed by the album "emotional suicide" on people like you records. with this output and many gigs in germany, switzerland, austria, the czech republic, the netherlands, poland etc.-these guys showed that they belong to the spearhead of german underground punkrock. their music, a mixture of sex pistols, buzzcocks, dead boys, slaughter&the dogs, eater, but also bands like new york dolls, t-rex, hanoi rocks etc. is second to none in germany. the boys just released their 2nd album "poverty makes angry " on people like you recods ..watch out





with FORBIDDEN KINGS we have a band, which plays a mixture of streetpunk, hardcore and sweet rock 'n' roll. people across the scene get united on their gigs, as such as skins, punks, hardcore kids and rockabillies. who thinks to get served with stump oi music will be dissappointed. this band is one of the few german bands, which stood for the antifascist spirit from the beginning, less through their lyrics as more through their international appearance. Being very popular in foreign countries the Kings spread out with played shows all across europe and even with a tour through turkey.





resistance has many faces - GUERILLA is one of them! It is no exaggeration to list this politically commited south german punk band among the best german bands ever. this is true for their live perfomances as well as their recordings. and for the music and the lyrics. GUERILLA exert an incredibly positive strength - the longing for change and the fight for it. GUERILLA is a call to arms against the ruling powers - essentially unrelenting and in-your-face, with that energetic feeling and commitment... towards self-determined life! which means: fight the power!





MEINHOF are from the heart of england, london. the bandmembers itself are coming from poland, spain and japan. the roots of this band lay in digital hardcore. getting bored of this the band started to take back their real instruments in their hand. since that their music can be described as extreme punk terror. their lyrics are all political and talk about topics like war, fanatism, fascism and other problems of this world. in the opposite of BLOCK ACTION MUSIC the band does not sympathize with Ulrike Meinhof and the Red Army Fraction!





OBTRUSIVE formed back in late 2003.Their furious, yet melodic, mix of driving street-punk, agressive old school hardcore and explosive chaos-punk could be described as ‘a fist to the face’ and, in terms of sound, can be compared to the likes of Casualties, Kill Your Idols, Miozän and the early Unseen. Their enthousiasm and energy, combined with a knack for songwriting, secures the four punx from Ravensburg a place up their with the best of them.





Pestpocken are that kind of Band you have been waiting for so long. They have a nice visual attitude without being facile. Pestpocken created an own slot for themselves. Punkrock in German language in a style that is familiar to the Casualties. Pestpocken means: "no room for Nazis" and "to live for squats and Punkrock with ideals"





that what sounds like old 80's uk hardcore is punkrock straight out of the heart of istanbul and is called POSTER ITI. who likes bands like discharge or gbh, will love POSTER ITI. the band had the honour to share stage with the exploited on their first gig in turkey. and when you see the boys and the girl from poster iti on stage you will feel their pure, fast and wild power that they spread from up the scene! also their lyrics shout out loud against social unjustice, national pride and religion. the songs were mostly in english or turkish language!





RED UNION from Serbia play some kind of melodic punkrock in the style of THE CLASH, GENERATORS and ANGELIC UPSTARTS. Same as the bands just named, they also got a striclty political attitude which carry the spirit of punkrock itself. Making party is not all that RED UNION want to do. They want to get things moved with their music!





apart from their music REJECTED YOUTH (Nuernberg, Germoney) are certainly the band in german punkrock that is able to catch the spirit of our time that is made of injustice, fear of whats about to come and growing stupidity. Their overall concept of music, lyrics and artwork should encourage more people to start thinking.





since their formation in autumn 2002, RIOT BRIGADE have been devoting all their energy and effort to hardcore punk with a distinct oldschool feeling in the tradition of bands like Crass. Beyond the music, there is the aspiration to direct the listeners’ attention to existing negative developments and to make punk a proactive and creative force.
