A new era has begun.
Blockade was formed under the direction of mastermind TJ Deeter in early 2007 when he gathered local young rappers to join The Hip Hop School. There was an intense push for these young rappers to improve all aspects of their skills and only the strong survived. The few that remained earned the right to be members of the group “Blockade” and take part in the steps to success. After many trials and tribulations of working to fuse together, Blockade created a self-titled CD that will be released in conjunction with their first show on Wed. June 6th, 2007 at the Arts Scene in North Little Rock at 8:00pm.
Just because this is the “finals” performance doesn’t mean Blockade is going away. A music video is planned for their single “Blockade”, shows are being planned for late summer and a full-length CD will be created starting in Fall ‘07.
Big things are happening and no barrier is going to stop Blockade.

Be at Vino's Nov. 30th to witness one of the hottest nights in hip hop. There will be performances by: 607 4x4 Crew Blockade--(featuring Central's own Maxx, J-DUB, and Lil' JD) After that will be the first Dance and MC Battles Little Rock has seen in a while as rappers and dance groups fight for $50 cash prizes.
Rock Town Lock Down will be in the building filming for their TV show. So dress to impress and come hyped up for one hell of a show.
Get in the door for $5 and see all of this go down in one night.
If you want to be in either of the battles, make sure you show up early to reserve a spot.
The mic will be blessed, the crowd will be rocked, winners will be crowned, it's all going down.
