I'm a storyteller, be it through words or a camera lens. In television scenes, chapters, magazine articles, or blog posts. I'm always eager for new opportunities. I'm currently the author of two memoirs: STRAIGHT UP AND DIRTY and MOOSE. I was hired by NBC Universal to write the pilot for a half-hour comedy series based off Straight Up and Dirty, and I'm currently working with other television networks on character development as well. Of course, I'm also always working on my blog, stephanieklein.com, and on my mama skills..

~C~	Sep 13 2009 12:54 PM Thank you Stephanie, for the repost of your 9/11 column on your blog. Reading yours, and the other poster replies, was touching and a good way to refocus my thoughts ,this year, on that day. I live in Las Vegas, where there are planes landing and taking off every 5 minutes. I remember keeping the kids home from school and staying home from work, I wanted to be prepared and ready to go somewhere, I have no idea where I expected to run, but to be ready as a family in a moments notice if need be. Then after lunch, it just became too much, complete overload...so I called my favorite neighbor who also had children, asked her to go with me, take them to get ice cream, something normal. We did. And as we sat outside the ice cream shop, we both watched the sky....and realized how eerie it was, not a plane in the sky anywhere. I remember it stayed that way for days, and then there were only military surveillance planes allowed to fly. Aside from obvious tv coverage of events on the east coast, my lasting memory, is the quiet blue sky, looking up, and not a plane or con trails anywhere.
