About me:

Mission

This is the myspace version of our blog site, BlogtoAmerica.org. Blog to America serves as a meeting ground for global opinions on the United States of America. All content for Blog to America is completely generated by the readers. Blog to America is a site where individuals from around the world post their opinions on the United States in the form of letters and comments. Blog to America aims to expand the world-view of Americans and others by providing alternative perspectives on current events and bringing together ideas and people from around the globe. So, check us out today and voice YOUR opinion!!!!!!!

Mission

Blog to America was created by four Americans in order to provide a place where foreign perspectives on the United States could be voiced and heard by normal, everyday people across the globe. As the U.S. is such a large and geographically isolated country, it can be easy for us Americans to overlook global issues and occupy ourselves with matters pertaining entirely within our borders. Thus, Blog to America was created to serve two roles. First, to provide an opportunity for Americans to increase their global awareness by reading views and perspectives from the international community. Second, to allow individuals from around the world to voice their opinions on American policies, culture, current events, or anything else that pertains to America. Readers can also respond to these views and engage in an international dialogue. In this increasingly smaller and connected world, the Blog to America team hopes that this site will bring people and ideas together for a positive change in attitudes and minds of people across the globe.

How it Works

All content for Blog to America is completely generated by the readers. Blog to America is a site where individuals from around the world post their opinions on the United States in the form of letters addressed to America. This can be done by clicking on the "Submit a Letter"; tab on our page and filling out the form, sending us an email, or even by sending a hand-written letter in the mail. We will then post the letter in the form of a blog entry. Users can then post comments on the blog, and engage in a discussion. We will also post the interesting dialogues that occurs via the comments as a blog entry.

Your letters are the most important part of this blog. So, submit a letter today, and have your voice be heard around the world!

To make it short and nice:
Their politics and policies are rubbish, period there is no question about it. My country unfortunately suffered this greatly in the 80's.

I do respect and admire the individuals who are against the unfairness of their government.

And informally speaking I love guys from the U.S., I enjoy the music, and the education.

Well, first I want to thank the chance to post my opinion in such place, specially when lately, the republican government is implementing such bad foreign policies around the world and mistreating so badly to inmigrants. I see the news , not often but I do. I'm a not a citizen atached to any political wing , because I believe firmly that the difference between a left wing dictator and a right wing dictator are the books that the dictator owns. As a Nicaraguan I suffered the miss treatment of both kind of governments, not red, not blue here, JUST CONCIOUS.

USA, is indeed a country of many contrasts, been vanguard on economical and military development, still has many problems to solve and some of them are pretty serious. Some sectors of USA conglomerate still have no acces to the basics, like food and education , and IN MY OPINION, it should not happen, specially when USA has, as I said before, the vanguard position in economics. A curious phenomenon Ilustrating this dramatically, was the effect of huricane Katrina on new orleans, IT TOOK TOO MUCH TIME TO GOVERNMENT TO ACT, and honestly I think they didn't need THAT MUCH TIME.

The raising of crime statistics, the BAD SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF USA YOUTH and many more problems that perharps I would mention later, MAKES USA A PERFECT PLACE TO GET MONEY BUT NOT TO RAISE KIDS.

The way that countries like mine see USA, is pretty bad, ungratefully politics like the ones of Bush an Reagan, made people of poor countries believe that USA is the enemy.

Thankfully as a being ALMOST free of political influence, lI know that PEOPLE IN A COUNTRY ARE NOT GUILTY OF ITS GOVERNMENT POLICIES, yet is guilty of ignorance. So I don't identify an american citizen as an enemy, but its government CAN PERJUDICATE A POOR COUNTRY LIKE MINE WITH ITS BAD POLICIES.

In the other hand I also must say tha USA can be a model of freedom as well, a good example of sincretism and mix of races , despite some racist people do an

heyhey,

I'm from Austria.

first, hi to all of you!

and now my opinion to america.

i don't know if i should like america.

what's up with you? why do you have to make such a stupid war? better spend your money for some meaningful things like some new exhaustsystems or something else.
so that we can keep our world for a longer time.
and know the big problem with iran, i can understand that you fear this little country. it's sooo dangerous!! but it's also a important country for oil.
and austria is going to make some business with them.
so, will you attack us next time?
please not! *g*

but now the positiv things of america,
i like your films,
your music,
your big expensive cars,
your business and your nice ladys ;-)
wonderfull! *g*

so, finished.

and now, please stand up and take a look in the whole world.
there are much nations not only you.

BigUP!
