Now the bloke part of my page name comes from the fact that that is what i'm called by just about everyone i know here - a sort of nickname i guess! It came about after people i worked with kept asking me what certain words and phrases meant. So when one of them asked me what Bloke meant (English term for man) it stuck and that's what i'm known as to most instead of Jason.
As well as my wife and family the other love in my life is my love for Horror!! All areas of the genre have kept me captivated in these films since i was a little kid.My all time fav film is George A.Romero's Dawn Of The Dead (1978)..I've lost count how many times i have seen this epic movie! I'm also a huge fan of 80's Italian Horror and as you'll see on my page i've had the honour of meeting some of Europes best!!

Below are a few of the people i have had the pleasure of meeting over the last 15 years or so..for more photos and signed stuff check out my photos section.
Back in the early/mid 90's when i was still living in England a good friend of mine (Grant Martin) started to put out a Horror Fanzine called Flesh Hunter which was sold mail order and at film fairs..Above you can see two covers which i drew and below you can see a couple of pages of articles that i wrote also...I got to write about some of my favourite areas of the genre,50's Sci-Fi/Horror,Godzilla,Dawn of the Dead and various other articles all of which can be viewed in a readable scale in my blog if you wanna check em out!
Also during the 1990's when i was still in England I attended a series of never-to-be-repeated film festivals which specialised in showing the best in European Horror..Not only did we get to see some true gems on the big screen (nothing beats seeing the wood splinter in the eye scene in Fulci's Zombi 2 on the big screen!) but we also got the chance to meet some true legends in Horror Cinema..Paul Naschy,Lucio Fulci,Joe D'Amato,Ruggero Deodato,Jean Rollin & Jess Franco...I still have the tickets and programmes for most of these as you can see above and below.Photos taken during these events can be seen on this page and in my photo section.
