About me:
I color comic books for a living, a very frivolous yet rewarding occupation. I love my job, to the detriment of other important things in life. This here's my website: http://www.blondthecolorist.com
When I'm not working, which is almost never, I like to watch dvd's on my giant movie projector. I also hit the gym once in a while.
Who I'd like to meet: The Sisters Of Mercy: We Are The Same, Susanne
thanks for being our friend! limited edition pulp paperbacks written by Steve Niles coming soon. If interested please stop by and say hi. cheers! Alex & Steve
Thank you very much for the link. I remember browsing through this deviantART gallery once before but that must have been a long time ago so I'm glad to have the URL handy again. Those G.I. Joe CCG pics are great. I especially like Steve Kurth's underwater illustration featuring an Electric Eel zapping a hungry shark. I'll need to buy a starter deck and maybe some booster packs for that game some day. The section titled "I Love The 80's" is my favorite without a doubt.
I happen to be watching He-Man and the Masters of the Universe DVDs created by Mike Young Productions this week so it's a treat to see those Emiliano Santalucia pages from the comic without word balloons getting in the way. I also notice a couple Voltron covers in there. I'm not quite as nostalgic about that franchise but I still couldn't resist getting the Complete Omnibus Hardcover in 2008. Lastly, I've got to mention how cool it is to see that unpublished Infantry #6 cover online. I consider myself one of Aftermath's most diehard fans and I really wish Infantry received a proper conclusion.
Thanks for the add, Blond! I appreciate it. I'm a diehard G.I. Joe fan with a sizeable 25th Anniversary Real American Hero collection. Last week, I received my cases for comic two-packs wave 6 and 7 and I noticed your signature on the cover for "Showdown Under the Sun". Since Hasbro doesn't include credits for these exclusive Larry Hama stories, I wasn't sure how much more you contributed to them until I checked the Yo Joe! G.I. Joe Comic Book Archive just now.
According to this web site, you also colored "The Oblivion Express", "Showdown at the Top of the World", "Explosive Thoughts", and "The Dark Beneath the Silence". I own all of them and I especially enjoyed issue 8 starring Lt. Falcon. It's really rare to see Nemesis Immortal show up in a G.I. Joe comic book and I was pleased with the creepy way he was portrayed.
