Once again I step foot
On shifting sand,
But before nights end,
I'll take your hand.
And again, I blindly acquiesce
To your take,
As we lie watching madmen
Drown in consequential fate.

**DISCLAIMER* Guys: If you don't consider the eroticism of intelligence, then don't even bother contacting me. I can guarantee you we will NOT mesh. And if you are just looking for someone to stick your protruding parts in, buy a "pocket p*ssy." They require a little less emotional investment than I do.**
I needed to change this up a little. I may have been giving the mistaken impression that I have it all together when truly I don't. But I make every effort to enjoy life to its fullest, though I don't have all the answers. Most enjoyable activities to me: eating, sleeping and sex (during the spring or fall...apparently I'm "seasonal" like bunnies. LOL). I'm not going to mince words and say otherwise. I don't like to play games. If I feel something, I'm going to let you know. If I am confused or curious, I'm going to ask questions. I always expect others to be the same. I don't know why I am disappointed when they are not. I get bored easily; I love learning something new; listening to the stories of people I have just met. I imagine that my enthusiasm bowls some over. My heart races and my body belies the intense energy I feel through such interactions.
I like to run and jump and envelop myself in all aspects of life. I have many acquaintances; very few friends. Likely due to the fact that I can be an asshole, and I do not possess that internal filter that tells you when you are being inappropriate. But I think about all of you. I really do. Even if I don't call or write.
Be forewarned that I find most humor funny, even offensive, racist humor. To laugh at something takes away some of its power. You can believe otherwise, but that won't change my viewpoint, or my taste in bad jokes. Deal with it or move on.
(EDIT April 2009: Trying to quit smoking, actually...it's been over a month, but I still smoke when I drink!)I'm one of the few pricks left that smoke and actually enjoy it. Okay, I am addicted and I know it and don't need to be reminded how bad it is for me. I went to college, thank you. I LOVE music; it makes me feel alive. But don't expect me to know the latest Indie bands. I prefer people to let me know what's out there. Don't let that statement fool you; there isn't much I leave up to others.
I get perverse pleasure from watching documentaries about murderers, rapists, prisons, little people and taboos. I make out with my cat; he adores me. Books are a passion that I will make excuses to spend money on that I don't really have. I stay up waaay too late; I keep trying to find a good sleep cycle but so far have not been successful at it.
I dabble in art and poetry though I'm not very good at either. Well, yes I am at times. Sometimes I'm so mushy I want to vomit but most of the time I am more of a cynical realist. I don't always take criticism well, though I am working on it. You're not likely to scare me. There isn't much I haven't already heard or tried myself.
And in spite of all that, I still find the time to be a big goofball! :)
Who I'd like to meet: Dane Cook and Hugh Laurie, so I can tap that ass!
Artists. Free thinkers. Young, nubile guys whose bodies and minds I can explore at my whim. Individuals that enjoy indulging in the pleasures of the body and mind but can still exhibit some stability. PEOPLE. How about friends? :) Unique individuals. Animal lovers. Crazy people. Intelligent people, sweetly sarcastic people, people that want to commiserate or laugh together. I tend to gravitate towards younger people~don't know why, but that is not written in stone. Okay...I don't much care for rednecks, ignorant individuals or conservative republicans. I gotta have some standards.
i didn't get any call from you. i know i'm on here too much, bored out of my mind! i'm in NC right now at brandons apartment. what have you been up to?
