    Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 26, 2008 -- The Mansion of Terror Haunted House returns for it's 6th season this Sept 19th in North Austin. Even though The Mansion of Terror was rated American's scariest Haunted House by Lionsgate Films, the cast and crew are not sitting back and resting on their laurels. Instead they are actively getting the Central Texas community involved in building and operating the Haunted House.

    Click to play video 10/28/2008 Haven't been to a haunted house in many years, but this Mansion of Terror was definitely a good one to go to. The production is very well done and the staff is great (in and out of the actual haunted house portion). There are two sides of the haunted house, a serial killer/Saw sort of thing and the other one is a crazy clown/circus setup. The actors on both sides are great, but the serial killer/Saw (Blood Frenzy) side was my favorite. Watch out for "blood" being sprayed at a couple of points and strobe lights! Also, if you're pretty tall (6 foot+) consider yourself warned, you will have to duck to get through some parts of the house. Still, the actors were great characters and the production was very well-built, absolutely worth checking out before they close for the season (I think they're going to be open through Nov. 1 for Dia de los Muertes)

This is how a haunted house is supposed to be!!! Even the guys in my group didn't want to go inside once they were in line. It was nonstop screaming inside. I was sweating and exhausted when I left but it was so much fun. I'm going to have to go back again before Halloween. Anyone going to Blood Frenzy, get one of their raincoats because you will get sprayed with blood. They said it washes out so I'm not too worried. It was worth it all the way!
