WHAT IS THE NEUROWEAPON?
It is a sensory assault vehicle.
A full DJ Mobile Unit.
A post-apocalyptic mash-up that blends car and stereo, lights and visual spectacle into a mobile sound masterpiece.
The NeuroWeapon packs thousands of watts of sound and some of the coolest effects in lighting incorporated into a mutated vehicle.
The NeuroWeapon is the gem of the art car collective started in 2002 called the Nomads. We have since 2002 built 12 cars collectively. Development of the NeuroWeapon began in 2005 by Brent Dodge and Tim (TdUb) Watson. The first appearance to the playa was in 2006. In addition to rocking the playa over the last 3 years, the NeuroWeapon has been sited at various events in California and Nevada including Lovefest SF, Burning Man Pre-Compression and Decompression.
The NeuroWeapon Mutant and Sound Vehicle is a unique combination of visual and lighting spectacle while also being a feat in mobile audio engineering. At first glance you see a superbly welded, black steel exterior frame with a highly technical design. At night the Weapon glows with only milliwatts of power from EL Wire and LED Lights which are placed and projected onto the side paneling. Combining the fierce, grated, hardbody look with a soft glow from the LED's creates a unique visual spectacle that utilizes some of today's newest lighting technologies.
Our Sound Engineers have produced and placed a sound system onto what was once a 1983 Chevy Suburban so that it has full, well balanced, warming sound waves that add a unique effect to your auditory experience. Although the number of speakers moving towards you can look intimidating, we are not here to blow out your ear drums!

Ultimately, the intent with the NeuroWeapon is to demonstrate that with proper placement of sound, compression, and volume control, you can experience a mobile sound vehicle that can project quality sound, provide you with the best beats to boogie the night away, and never have to walk away with ringing in your ears!
The NeuroWeapon was designed from the ground up to literally bring the party to you. Look for it in Black Rock City, Nevada, at LoveFest in San Francisco, Pre/Decompressions... and more!
