| About the Bloodline |
the Bloodline (tBL) is a blog centered on "General Not-So-Breaking News in the Tejano, Conjunto, and Norteno Scenes in Texas."
We write what we hear, think, and feel. Anything from CD Reviews and band interviews to articles and giveaways, its what we do.
Any band is welcome to be featured on tBL. Just go to http://the-bloodline.net/contact-us/ and contact anyone listed for an interview request and they will get back to you ASAP with the details.
tBL Radio
tBL Radio is podcast (updated whenever the hell we feel like it!) usually consisting of stuff not talked about on the blog, featuring new music (or any cool songs discovered). Basically just wacky commentary. A typical tBL Radio show can last anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending how much content we have. Within a tBL radio show you might hear at least one stupid commercial....
tBL Statement
It should be noted that there may be things you may not want to read about, or you might ask yourself "Who cares about this." There are many things that are going on in the Onda. The Onda is dying a hideous and pitiful death. Something needs to keep it alive. People should know whats going on. As an independent blog, we do our best to cover different stories and events. Sometimes bands don't respond to us because we're not the New York Times. Sometimes, people send us hate mail. For people like that, we have a phrase in the office: "PISS ON 'EM" BUA HA HA HA HA HA.
Overall, we hope you enjoy tBL as much as we love writing it!
