Influences for the group varies in music, life and each other. Musically, we like all types of music. Metal is our favorite, its so hard to just single out one type of music. I found my rollover effect at MyWebsiteLayouts.com, They're awesome!
Sounds Like
our music sounds like Heavy Metal with our hearts in this. Music with a meaning and something to say. This isn't music for people crying around about stuff. This music is to motivate and say f**k you. This world is hard enough and we think music can over come all
BLOODLINE started back in 1998, based out of Gallup, N.M. near the great Navajo Nation. The current line-up consists of Loren Anthony (bass/vocals), Virgil Wilson (guitar), Leland Anthony III (guitar) and Steve Baca (drums).
BLOODLINE has been touring regionally throughout the southwest and southern west coast region for several years, and now their first national tour has carried them all across the United States...everywhere from L.A.'s Whiskey-A-Go-Go to the front steps of the Nations Capitol! BLOODLINE is honored to have represented not only Native Americans in Washington, D.C., but also on many reservations with its power driven, "take-on-the-world" metal performances.
With their recent signing to STEPPING STONE RECORDS out of Flagstaff, AZ, BLOODLINE has proven to stand its ground with a sound of its own; they are currently in rotation on 83 stations across the U.S. and Canada and counting, and has expanded to include XM radio and Sirius radio!! Also recently winning an the "best metal song" award for the song sacrifice during the North American Indigenous Image Awards held April 23, 2009.
Not only is BLOODLINE a fan driven band, but they are also VERY independent and hard-working. They have toured with and opened shows for national and international acts such as HEMLOCK, DIECAST, GODHEAD, AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE, JUNGLE ROT, CLUTCH, TOTAL CHAOS, SIX LINE STITCH, BLEED THE SKY and many more.
BLOODLINE strives to continue reaching mass audiences around the world to represent who they are...and where they come from.
