Bloodline Severed is currently a 5-piece metal/metalcore CHRISTIAN band. It was originally formed in the Summer of 2003. Over the years they have had a few line-up changes, but their focus has never been as intense as it is now! The band has played over most of the South East in such venues as Tremont Music Hall, Ziggy's, Jillians South End, The Exit, Cafe Jam, Somewhere Else Tavern, The Lincoln Theatre, The Money and many others. They have rocked the stage with bands like August Burns Red, Haste The Day, Becoming The Archetype, The Chariot, War of Ages, My Children My Bride, Liferuiner, A Well Thought Tragedy, Bleed the Sky, Stemm, My Ruin, Disciple, Curse Your Name, Shadows Within, Nothingface, The 7 Method (The Ascendicate) and Decyfer Down. They have also played on festivals like Cornerstone, Ichthus Festival and Taking Back The Streets. Now consisting of Derek, Aaron, Corey, John and David, Bloodline is making new, more intricate music with methodical madness mixed with bone cutting lyrics that only the Son of Man would be proud of! As of December 10th, 2008, Bloodline Severed inked a deal Bombworks Records out of Washington and are slated to have their debut album drop worldwide in April of 2009. With their hearts set on a very promising future, these guys won't compromise their music or message along their path.
