Bloodpool is a Death Metal band from Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. It was started in 2004 as a solo project by Kevin Kuokkanen and evolved into a full band about a year or so later. Loaded with tongue in cheek humour lyrically, our sound is fast, technical and crushing while still maintaining groove and keeping the main focus on writing memorable songs. Since 2004 we've weeded out many songs and the sound has changed alot from the original Bloodpool due to new songwriters. We've played countless shows since we formed and have shared the stage with several awesome bands, such as Behemoth, Neuraxis, Soilent Green, Misery Index, Black Dahlia Murder and many more. We just finished a rough 6 song demo which we recorded ourselves and plan to hit the studio in the fall to release our first full length.
