About Bloodsoaked (Greensboro, NC Saturday July 12th)
Bloodsoaked is a one man Killing Machine! Taking musical influences from bands such as Morbid Angel, Broken Hope, Suffocation, Deicide, Pestilence, Death and even some new-school influence from Deeds of Flesh, Bloodsoaked is Pure Death Metal. The vocal style is more of a Cannibal Corpse meets Deicide approach that is sure to crush all!
Some of you will remember me from “The Intense Sounds of Death Metal” web site and Bloodsoaked Promotions as well as Bloodsoaked Records. I also played in the Boston based Thrash band Deslok from 1989 – 1990. So in some form or another I have been in the underground scene for almost 20 years.
The Bloodsoaked logo was designed by one and only Christophe Szpajdel!!! Christophe is known for doing many great logos such as: Emperor, Enthroned, Desaster, Old Man's Child, Borknagar, Abazagorath, Thus Defiled, SoulBurn and hundreds more!
In February 2007 Comatose Music released"Brutally Butchered", the debut CD from Bloodsoaked. The CD contained 8 songs of pure Death Metal. "Brutally Butchered" was well received in the underground with tons of great reviews as well as interviews in SOD Magazine, Explicitly Intense Magazine, Brutallica Magazine and other online zines. 2007 was a big year for Bloodsoaked, from the 10 day Slaughtering The South tour, XM Satellite Radio playing Bloodsoaked's music and the great internet underground support of Bloodsoaked and most important all the crazy Bloodsoaked fans I met during 2007.
2008 is starting off to be an even bigger year with two new songs already recorded, Slaughtering The South 2 Tour, the NC Death Fest II, Central Illinois Metalfest, Mayhem In May, The Evansville Deathfest, The New England Deathfest and a new CD "Sadistic Deeds... Grotesque Memories" to be released later this year and again it will be released on Comatose Music. Prepare for Bloodsoaked in 2008, it's going to be SICK!
