A unique initiative that sees the festival working in conjunction with local venues up and the down the country, taking to the grass roots of gigging in order to discover their finest local bands and giving one from each the chance of an esteemed slot at the festival.

As well as taking to the streets, we also love hearing from bands interested in playing the festival and actively encourage Unsigned bands to get in touch, send in their promo packs etc and we do listen to each and every one but of course only so many can play each year!

TURISAS - Ollie Interview on Tonights Metal Universe Show.......

On this weeks Metal Universe (www.arfm.co.uk) from 9PM, we have a great Interview with Ollie (taken at this years Bloodstock),the very talented Fiddleist from Turisas discussing everything from Painted fans to Ollies favourite bands.
Also we will be playing lots of Turisas tunes as well as new stuff from SWALLOW THE SUN, IMPIOUS, and playing some great classic Metal tracks, tonight chosen by DJ Rupes from down in Hassocks.

Hi Bloodstock, Bloodstock web site looks sick and just got m tickit. Can't wait. C you there. Please think about VADER, NILE, DAATH and Moonsorrow on the set. Bet you thinking of better bands. Never was thinking Europe was playing last year. Great Bloodstock last year. Best yet.

Must have powerful vocals Be between the age of 17 and 27 Have own transport or ability to get to regular rehearsals in rural Hampshire location Ability to attend regular rehearsals Available for extensive tour schedules Strong image .. .. We’re not looking for a replica vocal style of our past singer. We are looking for someone who’s voice suits what we do, who’s persona and sense of humour gels with ours and who’s look and stage presence fits with what we do or is willing to adapt it to do so. Blaze Bayley (former Iron Maiden frontman), and our label-mates and friends from the UK, Fury UK, are coming to Greece for 5 special shows at the end of Nov! We are very excited that we will be included on the bill for 4 dates!
We saw Fury UK with Blaze during our UK tour in May, and believe me, Greek fans are in for a hell of a rockin' night!!!!!!
