Who has time for TV???? ....ok.... I have to admit.... Tuesday night... I have to watch HOUSE!!! Most of the time when people talk about TV - I have this strange feeling I'm on the outside looking in............
My Dad - the man who told me - being a girl doesn't put limitations on what you can become - you can do anything a man can do - and probably do most things better. He gave me the confidence to believe in myself. I miss him dearly - but know he is still watching over me.
My son - who at 15 still tells me he loves me and will hold my hand and walk with me in public; the life I brought into this world and continues to bring joy into my life. The man he is becoming is strong and stands up for what is right. He has the ability to become whatever in life he chooses to be.
My daughter - the one mystery I may never solve. She has so much in life to look forward to - and to strive to become and I have all the confidence in the world that she will do anything and everything she sets her mind on doing and becoming. She understands right from wrong and chooses the path which is best for her. Her path isn't always easy - but is always right.
My grandfather - who cuddled me when I was 11 and made me feel safe and loved. I miss him dearly but know that he along with my father help to guide me through life's precarious situations.
About me: I'm the proud mom of 2 great kids!!! I work hard - so I play hard. Winter you'll find me skiing from Maine to Utah .... Summer is for the beach and ROLLERCOASTERS!!! My kids keep me going and make everything in the world worth while. I think my kids are my greatest accomplishment to date - although they are still a "work in progress" - I'm so very proud of everything they do and stand for - how they stand up for themselves and each other - seeing how they are turning out makes me know that I've done something VERY right in this world.
