BIOGRAPHY:
I Blood Thirsty Demons nascono nel 1997, formati da Cristian Mustaine. Durante i primi due anni di vita sorgono diversi problemi all'interno del gruppo che portano al suo momentaneo scioglimento. In questo periodo di pausa C.Mustaine inizia a studiare l'occulto , collezionare film horror e a spostare i propri gusti verso sonorità più oscure che porteranno alla riformazione dei Blood Thirsty Demons.
Inizia quindi la loro vera attitudine per l'Horror Metal, ispirati da band come DEATH SS , PAUL CHAIN , BLACK SABBATH , BLACK WIDOW , ATOMIC ROOSTER , KING DIAMOND , MERCYFUL FATE.
Il gruppo continua ad avere problemi di formazione , ma riesce comunque a pubblicare nel 2000 il primo demo-tape, "SOLVE ET COAGULA" seguito da un mini-cd nel 2001, "SABBATH".
Nel 2002 l'etichetta danese Horror Records raccoglie in un unico disco (edito solo in vinile 12") queste prime registrazioni della band stampato in 666 copie numerate seguite da una speciale edizione in soli 66 esemplari arricchita da vari gadgets.
La band comincia così a farsi conoscere anche all'estero, con ottime reazioni e recensioni da parte delle fanzine e dei magazine più importanti, acquisendo a tutti gli effetti il titolo di eredi degli storici DEATH SS.
Tantissimi concerti accrescono la forza e la convinzione della band e alla fine del 2002 esce un mini-cd intitolato "A-LIVE" seguito nel 2003 da un 7" per l'etichetta tedesca Metal Coven Records, contenente due nuovi pezzi in versione demo che saranno inclusi nel primo vero e proprio full-lenght della band intitolato "IN THE GRAVE" il quale vede la luce nel 2004, pubblicato dall' etichetta personale di Cristian Mustaine, la C.M. Releases e distribuito con l'aiuto della Iron Tyrant riscuotendo ovunque buone recensioni dai magazines specializzati.
Alla fine dello stesso anno il gruppo rientra in studio per preparare un nuovo disco, "LET THE WAR BEGIN" in uscita ad Aprile 2005 per l'etichetta italiana MY GRAVEYARD PRODUCTIONS.Nel novembre 2007 esce il nuovo lavoro della band,"Mortal Remains",sempre sotto la medesima label.Nell'ottobre 2008 la band firma per la Black Funeral Promotion per il disco in uscita nel 2009,"Occultum Lapidem".

The BLOOD THIRSTY DEMONS were found by Cristian Mustaine in 1997. During 1997 and 1998 the music of the band was a mix of many kind of music, but at the end of 1998 the Blood Thirsty Demons were divide by Mustaine for many problems. In this time Cristian started to study the occult and started to collect horror films. In the same year Cristian decided to refound the band inspired to bands like Death SS, Paul Chain, Black Sabbath, Black Widow, Atomic Rooster, King Diamond and Mercyful Fate... So they started to play horror metal.
In 1999 the band was engaged in many concerts and in 2000 they got out the first demo-tape 'Solve Et Coagula'. In 2001 Cristian changed the line-up of the band and got out the EP 'Sabbath'.
After the release of 'Sabbath', in March 2002 Horror Records (Denmark) released a 12' LP including 'Solve Et Coagula' and 'Sabbath'. In the same time the band released a bootleg live called 'Bloody live' with a new line-up formed by Cristian Mustaine on vocals and guitars, Jack The Ripper on bass and Vlaper on drums. In september 2002 Vlaper left the band and Karl Skyquake took his place. In december 2002 the band released their first official liveCD called 'A-live'and in may 2003 Metal Coven records (Germany) print a 7' split Blood Thirsty Demons/Wytchkraft with 2 new songs. In June 2003 the band started to record the first album 'In The Grave',that it was released in April 2004 by C.M.RELEASES.In April 2005 MY GRAVEYARD PRODUCTIONS released the second album of the band,'Let The War Begin'.Finally,in November 2007,the same label released the new album: 'Mortal Remains'!!!
In October 2008 the band sign with Black Funeral Promotion for the new album out in 2009:'Occultum Lapidem'.
