If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Sergei Rakhmaninov.
I lived in the early Twentieth Century and was well known for my compositional, conducting, and piano skills, yet I am melancholy despite this talent. My famous works include my nearly-impossible piano concerti.
Music is life. I am getting into more into poetry as of late (it is rather on and off for us). I read more than I sleep. I love nothing more than to go to a concert and fight my way to the front... Some of my best memories are from moments like those. I would like to travel. I like lots of things. I give anything a chance and would try anything once. When I get hella bored I update my myspace.

I listen to other things as well. I either forgot them or I don't listen to them enough to put up the band on this list. So basically.... yeah. I listen to a fair number of one hit wonder bands. I love the Nuggets (oldies) collection. I really like alternative/ska/punk/new wave/rock/blues/grunge type stuff. I will listen to anything with a kicking bass line. If you have a musical suggestion I will take it.

But if I had to choose my hero at this moment... Johnny Marr. What a P-I-M-P... Or all around gentlemanly, good natured character. And just to be fair Moz too... Cause of all the babies we will be having together. SO MANY BABIES!

Kate the Great is happy in the haze of a drunken hour... -The Smiths Posted at 2:44 AM Aug 24, 2008 view more
About me: I have trouble with decisions. I am paranoid. I bottle my emotions. I procrastinate. I lie.
I am rather consistently bored.
I come onto myspace for two reasons. Boredom and music. I am currently bored, hence my being here. Facebook is more where it is at for me; I actually know the people I am friends with there... If we know each other from real life, talk to me there.
I want to do something... Anything really. I am sick of the mundane. The world is ending in 2012 (Mayan Calender) so we should probably do what we want now.
Who I'd like to meet: Someone with a story to tell. Someone with art to sell. Someone who lives their life. Someone who plays the fife. Someone with time to burn. Someone who has lots to learn. Someone who is always bold. Someone hard to cajole. Someone who stands by convictions. Someone full of contradictions. Someone who doesn't condescend. Someone I'd want to call a friend.
Thanks Kate! We're really glad you like the music!! Thanks for your kind words. We're busy working on new stuff at the moment and will hopefully have some new recordings up soon. Meanwhile feel free to download the two we have up. :-) Thanks again!!!!
We're talking away I don't know what I'm to say I'll say it anyway Today's another day to find you Shying away I'll be coming for your love, OK?
Take on me, take me on I'll be gone In a day or two
So needless to say I'm odds and ends But that's me stumbling away Slowly learning that life is OK. Say after me It's no better to be safe than sorry
Take on me, take me on I'll be gone In a day or two
Oh the things that you say Is it life or Just a play my worries away You're all the things I've got to remember You're shying away I'll be coming for you anyway
Take on me, take me on I'll be gone In a day or two
Katy Hampton, tomorrow is the 31 cent icecream day at Baskin Robbins. I was wondering if you'd like to accompany me on a fantastic cheap icecream excursion?
