Mike Cassette
Steve Boy
Jeff Bridges (left due to musical differences)
Dennis Taylor the snooker player (left because the others kept laughing at his funny glasses, and also because whenever they introduced him to anyone, they'd say, "and this is Dennis Taylor the snooker player." "I do have a life outside snooker you know," he'd mutter before storming off in one of his moods.)
An apple
An orange
A snake (a snake is not an animal)
Bob Hope's leg (either one)

Sorry, what is this again? Band members? It's just getting stupid isn't it?
Influences
Probably our biggest influence is this great band called Cassetteboy, maybe you've heard of them? These are the records what they've put out and that:
Di and Dodi Do Die (7", released on Barry's Bootlegs in 2000 I think, not that it matters, they've all gone now.)
The Parker Tapes (CD, released on Barry's Bootlegs in 2002. Still available, if you can find Barry. If you do, tell him he owes me a tenner.)
Festive Christmas (CD single, released on Barrys Bootlegs every bloody Christmas like that Slade song. When we were in America we gave away copies of this with dollar bills taped to them. True story.)
Barry's Bootlegs Present - Cassetteboy vs. DJ Rubbish - Inside a Whale's Cock Volume 1 (CD, released in 2003. A compilation type thing, featuring lots of great stuff in between our bits and Rubbish's shouting. Why not buy a copy for your Mum? Oh yeah, because it's got loads of swearing on it.)
Mick's Tape (CD, released on Antidote in 2005. Yeah, that's right, released on a proper record label, not just our mate Barry flogging them down the car boot sales. This is another compilation album, featuring proper artists who you might have heard of. It's worth buying just for the godlike genius of The Manor Boys.)
Dead Horse (CD, released on Barry's Bootlegs in 2005. Yup, our dalliance with the glamorous world of major labels didn't last long, so we went back to Barry with our tails between our legs. This is our second proper album.)
Carry On Breathing(CD, released on Barry's Bootlegs in June 2008. Our third proper release, and it's a concept album, but don't worry, it's still got plenty of knob gags in it.)
Sounds Like
It sounds like all our friends are on FaceBook these days, so we're probably wasting our time here.
Also, Mike from Cassetteboy (er, me) has written a novel, and it's very funny, even if I do say so myself (which I do). I'm not the only one, Stephen Merchant from The Office and Extras says it's "the funniest work of fiction since The Bible", and I'm not going to argue with him.
Other bookshops are available, check out Earth Inc's myspace page for other exciting purchasing options.
Lastly, we're terrible at replying to messages. Like, really awful. So don't be offended if we don't get back to you. Sorry.
Righto, on with the nonsense...
Cassetteboy are twin brothers Mike (31) and Steve (29). They began collecting audio material while they were still in their mother's womb, using a rare in utero TEAC tape deck. Sadly much of this material was rubbish, being mainly the sound of digesting food and unspecified gurgles. To be honest it wasn't really worth the effort, though a few seconds of the noise did appear on their debut album The Parker Tapes (I think it's just after someone off the telly says the word "computer").
School was a tough time for Mike and Steve. They were often bullied, as although one of them was a boy, the other was of course a cassette, and you know what kids are like, they'll pick on the smallest differences. Things weren't helped by the fact that they were growing up in Chelmsford, Essex, which is shit.
It was shortly after this that Mike and Steve found international fame. It was just lying there, in the very first place they looked. All they had to do was obsessively record every bit of TV and radio they could lay their hands on, painstakingly re-edit it and then prance about like a couple of tits in front of hundreds of people.
Thinking about it, I've never actually seen a couple of tits prancing about, but I'd certainly like to. If you've got two or more tits that prance about, please get in touch.
