BLOODY SIGN has been created in 1996 and spread darkened death metal. After four demos and lineup changes the band signed a deal with IBEX MOON RECORDS and soon released Vana Vigala Loits (2004). Rave reviews followed, as well as several festival appearances, European tours and a tour of South America. Some of these included shows with such bands as IMMOLATION, INCANTATION, CENTURIAN, BEHEMOTH, IMPALED NAZARENE, KRISIUN… After a successful tour with label mates ESTUARY in 2006, and the release of Rhythms Of Carnage split (on great ug labels such as Time Before Time recand Deathstrike records), BLOODY SIGN entered the studio to record their second blood-opus, Explosion of Elements out on IBEX MOON REC in 2007. The result is a raw mixture of crushing death metal and sheer oppressive black metal darkness with twisted harmonies and rhythms. Then followed by a European tour lined up with VITAL REMAINS. With the release of the warmly welcomed The Third Escape EP in 2008 on the finest European death metal label BLOOD HARVEST REC from Sweden and the tour conquest of Eastern Europe the band definitely rooted its name in the extreme music scene. Musically BLOODY SIGN is beginning to explore more and more the darkness around and inside, sounds gain a lot of shapes through a kind of dark psychedelism which melt strange chords with weird rhythms and patterns, chaotic and/or improvised moments, yet straight old death metal deep riffing to sharp and fast aggressions, to convey the listener in its own world made of darkness and blackened lights. in 2009 BLOOD HARVEST REC released the LP version of Explosion Of Elements. During spring time, the band recorded its third album CHAOS ECHOES, which is released in 2010 on BLOOD HARVEST REC on CD (LP version to be released in september 2010, as well as a american version on IBEX MOON REC), a 11 tracks album dealing with the links between music and magick, music and death, music and ancient secrets, ancient beliefs, elements and forces "With a heaving resonance borne of gut instinct and uncompromised audacity, Chaos Echoes sees Bloody Sign progress to an entirely new beginning.
