About me: We are a sweet little grassroots non-for-profit, Located in the beautiful city of Bloomington Indiana. Our purpose is to educate, support, and empower pregnant women, new mothers and their families as they make informed decisions troughout the childbearing year and early parenting.
Your journey as a mother will begin with pregnancy. Good Nutrition and exercise, plus a positive relationship with your caregiver, will help you maximize the chances of growing a healthy baby and helping yourself to be ready for the labor and birth.
Any time you come to our office ,you may find a group of new parents with their babies and toddlers, exchanging ideas, laughing over the latest antics of their little ones, sharing birth stories, and in general, enjoying the highs and be-moaning the lows of parenting.
We parent best when we are well-supported. Being well-supported, for most of us, includes having a community of parents. BABS(Bloomington Area Birth Services) can help you find that community-whether through your yoga class, your childbirth education class, or just making use of our resources,

Bloomington Area Birth Services's Friend Space (Top 13)
Hey whats's up, glad you added us back! :) If you don't know what The Cereal Barn is, its kinda like Coldstone, the ice cream place only with cereal and peanut butter, and we DO have ice cream also, and coffee, and our profile explains what we are pretty well too. It's very good, and fun, and all that. Stop by, bring some friends or family, and get the 10% myspace discount on anything you buy. It's all cheap either way. We are at 408 East 6th Street in Bloomington, down the street from the Monroe Public Library, downtown. See Ya soon!
You are very welcome! Thank you for doing all you have done for all of the mommies in and around Bloomington. Imi and I are so thankful for your support through and after my pregnancy.
Mikey is almost 8 months old now! I can't believe we have made it this far. He has 2 adorable teeth and 2 more coming in. Every day is something new. We are teaching him signs right now and he has had about 5 haircuts. hehe :) -Megan
