ENGLISH: Hi we..re the Swedish duo "Bloosbrödrarna", which means "Bluesbrothers" in local southern Swedish dialect (not proper Swedish). Our duo consists of Mattias Bogefors (hca, voc) and Alexander Tenghamn (guit, perc). We play our own material mostly in Swedish but also got a few songs in English. Our lyrics are often written with some kind of twist to them. The song "I didn..t wake up this morning" which we have written originally in Swedish "Jag vaknade inte i morse" has just been recorded (May 2005). The song has got nice respons from Joe Filisko. We..ve been played on both Danish and Swedish radio and do gigs in the south of Sweden. The song "Drama queen" has also got some nice reviews from famous harmonica players as Jason Ricci, Mad Cat Ruth, David Barrett and Steve Baker! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SVENSKA: Vi startade som ett jam project mellan Mattias på sång och munspel, och Alex på gitarr, efter vi hade träffats på Juldagsblues i Eslöv 2004 hos Ralph & big bang group, där Mattias gästade. Materialet är uteslutande eget, och texterna är av grovkorning kaliber... Kort sagt blues, fast på skånska bloos. Dock har det dykt upp engelska versioner på några av våra egna låtar... Allt är skrivet med glimten i ögat, även om vissa av texterna behandlar tunga ämnen. Vi försöker att variera soundet med influenser från deltablues, shuffle, boogie ända till swing, country och rumba. Vi använder främst våra instrument akustiskt, men plockar även fram gamla rörförstärkare till både munspel och gitarr, för att få skitigt bluesigt ljud. Alex är en fena på slide också... Alex spelar också percussion, fotstamp, hi-hat och virveltrumma på vissa låtar.
Bandet har spelat på Bar Express i Lund och på Vårbluesen i Stehag och Julbluesen i Eslöv 2007. Bandet har spelat på Den Lille kro i Malmö, och på en välgörenhetsgala i Eslöv i april 2008. 2009 har vi gjort en spelning på Vårbluesen i Stehag för 3:e året i rad.
Vi håller på att spela in en platta "himma i Lund" och det kommer att finnas smakprov att lyssna på efterhand som de blir klara. Låten "I didn..t wake up this morning" är också mixad av Lundamusikern Fredrik Ekblad i hans studio, övrigt material är endast våra egna "råmixar" än så länge..... Ha tålamod!
Låtarna "Jag vaknade inte i morse", "Dramaqueen", "Danmark blues" och "I didn..t wake up this morning" har dessutom spelats på radio i Danmark. Sången "Danmark blues" har också spelats i SR P4 i oktober 2008.
Den engelska låten "Drama queen" har vi bl. a fått mycket bra kritik ifrån världsklassmunspelarna Jason Ricci, David Barrett och Filip Jers. Det samma gäller "I didn..t wake up this morning" som fått bra respons från värlsklassmunspelaren Joe Filisko.

We finally decide to get it out. We wanna remeber Enrico in this way. In the first quarter of 2009 we will publish all our and Enrico Micheletti' s materials on Itunes and many other stores on the web.

Questi ringraziamenti non sono formali, sono veramente sinceri a nome nostro, della moglie di Enrico Paola e a nome dei suoi figli.
Le ceneri di Enrico Micheletti sono disperse nel mar Tirreno e stanno viaggiando nell' universo. Noi speriamo che anche la sua anima abbia raggiunto finalmente il miglior approdo possibile.
Cosa fare del suo materiale in nostro possesso e del materiale che abbiamo registrato insieme?
Dopo aver pensato a lungo sul da farsi abbiamo deciso di pubblicarlo. Lo pubblicheremo su Itunes ed altri siti così tutti potranno trovarlo se lo cercano. Glielo dobbiamo. Glielo deve chi lo ha conosciuto.
Cercheremo di pubblicare tutto ciò che è in nostro possesso nei primi mesi del 2009.

Cher Ami, Mon clip Neurofibro est en ligne depuis hier. Il parle de la maladie génétique orpheline, la neurofibromatose, dont je suis atteint et qui m’a paralysé il y a maintenant 10 ans. Il faut absolument se mobiliser. Si vous voulez nous aider, merci de le regarder et de le diffuser à toutes vos connaissances. Pour nous, les malades, c’est vital. Plus le clip sera vu, plus la maladie, sera connue, plus nous aurons de poids dans les médias et surtout plus on aura de chance qu’un médicament soit trouvé. Merci à tous.

For those of us, who are sick, it is vital to mobilize for a cure. Please, watch my clip and, if you would like to help, please send it on to your friends. With this clip our voice will be heard, and more people, and the media, will learn about this tragic disease. By spreading the word we will have achieved something great, a better chance at finding the cure we so desperately desire.
