Everything is much more simple in this complexity.
All the philosophy of blött lies in this sentence. To create a music that simply goes wherever we want it to go, without rules or boundaries. It feels natural for us, everything is in control, even madness. Will you follow ?
The story of blött started somewhere in 2006. We won't list all the musicians and singers that came before and after, nobody gives a shit. The only thing that matters is that blött has now found its true identity, 5 people's sick minds entangled. The result is something between Tool and Meshuggah, cruising among a lot of other influences too numerous to list and so uninteresting to read unless you hear us.
The band released its first demo in 2008, « The death of Jim's postmodernism », containing 4 songs, after 2 months of hard work to make it as good as possible with only the humble means of their own home studio. The year 2009 should see the birth of anopther EP soon. But everything in its own time.
Every comment from people who heard this demo are very positive. blött will now try to make its own way to the top of the belgian scene, little piece by little piece. The potential is there.
blött has already made some quite interesting shows:
First we made our live experience at the EMergenza contest in 2008 - Witloof bar (Botanique), Semi-finals at the Vk in Brussels,and 5th position on 14 bands at the belgian finals that took place in the Orangerie (Botanique).
We also played at the Differtival (Differt), in Lille (La Chimère), in Groot-Bijgaarden (JK Paddestoel), at the Braincore festival in Braine-l'Alleud, in Andenne (Le Hangar), in Chênée (CCJC), in Ciney (MJ), and in Anvers (Pand Demonium).
And this is only the beginning. We intend to bring our music to as many stages as we can in the following years, in Belgium or abroad.
Being at the same time very relaxed but also very demanding on its own level of accomplishment, blött is giving the best of itself wherever it goes, powerful, precise.
So much for the talking, and keep on blötting !

As you maybe already know, we just came out of the Jack Studio ( www.myspace.com/jackstudio ) where we recorded our E.P. entitled "To the threshold of inhumanity". This first professionnal recording of WBB will contain the following tracks :

Aloah Blött, j'ai pris le temps d'écouter votre démo, mais il faut encore que je m'y attèle, moi qui aime les cassures, les contres-temps et les structures chaotiques je dois dire que je suis généreusement gâtée,alors merci pour autant de plaisir. J'ai aussi lu sur la page de Zatokrev que vous aviez apprécié :-).Si j'ai l'occasion de vous revoir, je reviendrais c'est certain, d'autant qu'on ne me voit que sur 1 seule photo et assez mal !!!!!
