BAND BIO: The Napoleon Blownaparts formed in 1995 by singer/song writer and art designer Ajax Garcia- Discography includes the band's 1997 debut album titled Thrill Bound. The groups first record spawned a mild radio hit called Do Ya Like My Haircut. In 2000 with producer Daniel Daniel Ajax and his band would head to the bay area and begin recording at the famed Laughing Tiger Studios to pump out the band's Heart Of Saturday Night record. Engineer Ari Rios also had a hand in helping with the production. In 2001 The Blownaparts headed back to the studio to remix, repackage and release the Heart Of Saturday Night record only this time it was named Land Of Hype & Glory and was released on the American imprint BLAVOD/Eerie Pop Records. In 2003 Ajax Garcia signed a licensing deal with John Buckman and the result would be a best of album that reflected back on 8 years of Blownaparts music, That album is called THRILL-HYPE. Since 2003 Ajax Garcia has been hard at work developing a merchandise business under the Eerie Pop Industries moniker. As for The Blownaparts only a hand full of new material has surfaced to date including their version of the New York Dolls classic Puss N' Boots for a Dolls tribute disc called JetBoys Of Babylon put out by FL.R. Records in 2004 and then in 2005 SharkBite Records invited the band to absolutely destroy an 80's classic. With drummer Jesse "the Mexican" Mendez and Murderdolls guitarist Eric Griffin Ajax headed back to the studio to turn the Cinderella ballad No Body's Fool into a absolute blistering punk rock anthem!. Finally in 2008 Ajax released a track off of his new album Goin' Back To Zero as part of the Formula Drift Series sound track. The song can also be found on a special FREE disc that is available at all America's Tire Co. The name Napoleon Blownaparts was passed down to Ajax by an old friend named Brian Waters (The Flash Express). The marketing of The Blownaparts has always ceneterd around the art and life of founder and cheif song writer Ajax Garcia. Ajax, I already agree with you, the hard part is if you knew what I know! I am sick of our government and the corporate control. I have been trying to figure out how to voice my opinion without getting wiped away.
