Formed in 2000 in Nyon, Switzerland, BLOWN was set up to conquer the world with a merciless blend of modern hardcore and old school metal. After BLOWN's debut full length ''Spreading Seeds'' (Condor Records/Disques Office) released in 2002, they performed numerous shows, were aired on various radio stations, appeared on international compilations, were broadcasted on MTV's Headbangers Ball (Denmark) and on Swiss national TV several times. BLOWN shared stages in Germany, France and Switzerland with bands such as FIRST BLOOD (usa), FULL BLOWN CHAOS (usa), THIS IS HELL (usa), PRO PAIN (usa), CATARACT (ch), NO TURNING BACK (nl), FEAR MY THOUGHTS (d), 25 TA LIFE (usa), BORN FROM PAIN (nl), ZERO MENTALITY (d) to name a few.
But finally and most importantly they reached a musical maturity. ''Into Shadows Of Fear'' (Subversiv Records/Irascible) is definitly the most dark and brutal material released by the band so far.
