Blowzone is a band for people who like to think, feel, and move… all at the same
time. Featuring a 5-piece horn section, this Twin
Cities-based ensemble has often, and aptly, been described as “genre-
bending.” With direct influences that include Miles Davis, Tower of Power,
James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Smith, Sly, and the
Beatles, the band keeps “a foot in the history and an eye on the future.”
Never forgetting that music is meant to be experienced by player and
audience together, Blowzone makes sure the fun stays on top of every groove. Watch for the early 2007 release of our first CD. The CD includes seven Blowzone originals plus Joni Mitchell's "Helpless" and Bobbie Gentry's "Ode to Billie Joe."

Cities Live!
A big thanks to all my friends... I just went over 10,000 listens on my player. I've added a fifth tune to my player, an arrangement of Scott Henderson's "Harpoon", the leader and guitar player of Tribal Tech.
